About logos

I am a big fan of logos and how they evolve decade after decade.

And given that my first car was a Skoda, for some reason I have always been emotionally attached to this Czech car brand.

And one of the questions I always asked myself was, ‘What is the Skoda logo about?’ I just don’t get it. Until yesterday.

Yesterday I found that this logo actually is inspired by a picture portraying a Native American hanging in the management office in Plzeň back in 1918.

Above is the picture of the model, on which the first logo was registered in 1923.
